The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras Avenue to dedicate a recently deceased writer Miguel Delibes (23/03/2010)

The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, take the next plenary session a motion to have an avenue of the town is named 'Writer Avenida Miguel Delibes', "in recognition of the great figures of Spanish literature of the last century."

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, propose in the next plenary session a motion requesting that you give the name of writer Miguel Delibes' an avenue of the city.

According to Sanchez, "with the naming of a street as 'writer Miguel Delibes' we pay a posthumous tribute to one of the great figures of Spanish literature of the last century."

Specifically, the motion was proposed that the stretch of Almeria Avenue between roundabouts connecting the N340 to D-19 and N340 with the D-17, which is designated as the Avenue 'writer Miguel Delibes'.

In this way, and with the approval of the motion, the town will host a tribute act to be discovered in the board will appoint one of the busiest avenues in the municipality.
