The Group delivers award Tragsa sustainable rural development to the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras (12/04/2010)

The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, received this morning the prize of the III Edition of Tragsa Group for Sustainable Development of Rural Areas in the project 'Rural Development Plan The head of the Jara' presented by the City Council Puerto Lumbreras.

Through a grant of € 60,000 granted by the group Tragsa, the municipality will develop and operate three new ecotours in the Youth Hostel Villa La Jara Cabezo the municipality.

Specifically, the trails are divided into three themes: 'Botany', 'Integrated Management of Water' and 'Astronomy'.

The first track, the 'Botanical' will showcase the living collections of plant species existing in the area, and promote the conservation and cultivation of fish in danger of extinction.
